Football Bundaberg Announcement
Kanga Cup 2009
Please be advised of the following, 9:30am Saturday 6th June 2009 from Chairman Football Bundaberg:
Due to many Children being pulled out of the Kanga Cup Teams by concerned parents and a strong diligent duty of care by Football Bundaberg we will be cancelling all our Teams to the 2009 Kanga Cup. We are erring on the side of caution in regards to the current Swine Flu that is circulating throughout the Country. There are many Victorian Teams competing and concerns have been expressed about this.
We are very disappointed that this has had to happen but as previously stated we believe that we are acting prudently under our duty of care to our FBI Children and carers. Refunds will be processed to all Parents that have paid monies. We look forward to being able to attend in 2010.
SWINE FLU NOTICE
Football Bundaberg requests the assistance of all it's Affiliated Clubs, their Executive, members and Players as well as the General Public.
If you have a suspect case of Swine Flu and have needed swabbing and or temporary quarantine, Football Bundaberg requests that you DO NOT COME TO GAMES at Martens oval, nor Club training's until your quarantine or watch period is completed. if you still do not feel well then stay at home please. Football Bundaberg is requesting this in the interest of our larger Public audience that comes to Martens Oval each weekend. This request will go to all Clubs today.

2009 Spectator Passes
There are 3 levels of Spectator passes in 2009:
Extended Family Pass: $110.00 for Season, this is for 2 Adults & 2 Pensioners and High School Student Children under 18 with School ID. Includes all FBI and FWB Games held at Martens Oval, this also gives access to State League Games but excludes A League pre season and or A League games or other special events as advised at the time. This does not allow a vehicle entrance.
You must show your pass to gain free access, if you forget the pass then you will need to pay the gate price at the time, it is your responsibility to carry your entrance pass.
SMALL SIDED FOOTBALL (SSF) UPDATE FOR 2009
Optus have now been announced as the Official Partner with FFA (Football Federation of Australia) for SSF (Small Sided Football), formerly SSG. WHO NEEDS A BLUE CARD AT FOOTBALL BUNDABERG
KANGA CUP CANBERRA 2009 PLAYING TOUR U10; U11; U12; U13
Football Bundaberg would like to announce the release of our fully sanctioned Playing Tour of the 2009 Kanga Cup at Canberra, leaving Bundaberg on Friday 10th July 2009 and returning Bundaberg Saturday (late) 18th July 2009. This will be for interested Players in the following age groups: U10 (turning 10 in 2009); U11 (turning 11 in 2009); U12 (turning 12 in 2009); U13 (turning 13 in 2009) and U13 Girls (turning 11, 12 or 13 in 2009). This is an exclusive Tour with our Players, Coaches, managers and Carers staying at the AIS Accomodations and enjoying the special extra training and meals at the AIS. The Tour includes breakfast & tour of the Taronga Dubbo Zoo; all meals for the entire period; escorted tour of the War Memorial & special wreath laying ceremony; private tour of Questacom at night; AIS Disco; fully qualified Coaches; Development Manager on tour; full time qualified Emergency Medical Technician on Tour; AIS Tour; AIS Nutritionist lecture; AIS Lecture from Recovery Specialist; AIS Sports Training Kit; Football Bundaberg Winter Clothing Kit (including special extra warm Jacket, polo shirts, beanie, track suit, long sleeved playing strip).
